Ask Bitpod a question about video marketing
This is a question from a recent seminar we hosted at Business Network Southwest.
The answer to this question is, “We don’t know.” YouTube aren’t sharing this information, and if you look at their frequently asked questions page, actually it says they aren’t going to tell you because people do falsify views.
There are services out there where you can buy views to artificially inflate the popularity of your video. This is against YouTube’s terms and conditions. It’s very likely to get you banned. Maybe not now, but possibly in the future. And that’s the reason they are not sharing this information. But what I can say is that if you make a good, compelling video with interesting content, and you research your title and your description so you maximize the SEO benefits, then people will find it, people will watch it. And they’ll watch enough of it for it to count as a view. So it’s a really good question.
We don’t have the exact answer, but really, if you do everything right and you make something that’s good, people will watch it.[/learn_more]
