There’s a few things that you can do to help the SEO of your video.

The first thing is to make sure the video is on the page by itself. What I mean by this is don’t mix it in with other videos, don’t mix it in with other content, just let this page be about this video.

Add a description, something that gives the search engine words so it understands what your video is about.

If you like, put a transcript – that’s the words that are actually spoken within your video at the bottom of the page.

And that will give the search engine everything it needs to know about your video.

Finally, look at the meta data for your page. And what I mean by this is the title and the description. This is the meta title and the meta description. Make sure that these are really well finely tuned to be relevant for what your video is about.
