You need to know your target audience, what they need from you and what you wish them to do after they have watched your video. The idea here is to think beyond the actual making of the video.

And think about the long-term aspects of your video marketing campaign. What is the purpose of your video? How many views do you intend to get? How many of these could become clients? These are just some of the things you need to keep in mind before going ahead to make your online video.

3. If you don’t believe in video as a marketing tool

Without your understanding of what makes it work, your persistence to make it work and your passion to make it work well you will only get a small return from your effort.
