This update was filmed with thebestof Exeter at Fresha Cafe in Sowton, Exeter. These regular breakfast meetings offer members an opportunity to network, discuss and watch guest presentations. This footage will be combined with footage from the upcoming Exeter Business Development Academy and selected clients to create two short promotional videos.

Animated Exeter is the UK’s largest animation festival with a wide selection of screenings, workshops and animation activities spread around the city. Bitpod has been asked to create videos to help promote next years event, this short clip is from a 3D Modelling class run by model maker Gill Bliss (Chicken Run, Creature Comforts, Timmy Time).

The Big Business love event is part of Nigel Botterill’s Entrepreneur’s Circle which is hosted by Julia Bramble from Bramble Buzz. Whilst we were setting up to record the main event we asked Julia to give us a preview of what it is all about.

On Friday the 3rd of February, the children and staff of Clyst Honiton School travelled to see the progress of the new school at the Cranbrook town development. Bitpod are proud to have been awarded the contract for filming this visit and subsequent video progress reports, all of which will be displayed on their new website soon.

Filming started today for a 3 minute video presentation to be used at Dairy NPD 2012 conference in Amsterdam. This video will consist of footage shot at Quickes Traditional in Devon and animations created from product clips. This video is for Jack Renton Ltd who will be performing one of the opening speeches in February’s conference.

We are currently working on a short video introduction to promote Chris Wood’s new eBook “Unlock the True Value of Social Networking: How to Grow Your business with LinkedIn”. This video will show screens from the book as well as Chris’s personal introduction on what you will gain from reading it. Here is a quick update on set from Chris before we started filming.

We regularly visit Escot park to capture events and record further progress for the ongoing red squirrel enclosure project. This week we were asked to film the squirrel feeding as they have been getting more familiar with their keepers. We were lucky with the weather and light and managed to grab some fantastic close-up footage of the squirrels in their natural habitat

Bitpod has been spending time on Bowden farm on Dartmoor filming Russell Ashford and his herd of dairy cows. This project has been commissioned by one of the UK’s largest organic milk suppliers. The aim is to produce a short educational video for primary school children explaining what happens on a dairy farm and why organic milk is so special.

On Saturday 11th and Sunday the 12th June, Bitpod was asked to film the progress of the Top Cats racing team. With three cars and six drivers, Top Cats is a serious team with a long history of competing in the Britcar championships. On arrival we were issued with press passes which enabled us access to most track-side and pit lane areas.

Bitpod have been asked to film the construction of a £3M, 750KW biomass plant installation for South West Waste Management Ltd in Basingstoke. The new plant will feed electricity back into the grid generated by burning waste wood products in it’s 1400 degree furnac
